Hello and Welcome to Nourishing Nurses! The word nurse comes from a term that means “one who nourishes.”  My hope is that this platform will provide nurses with nourishment that leads to growth and sustainability. This is a platform for nurses by nurses. I will be interviewing nurses who have been selfless in their care of others. We will hear their stories and come to know the obstacles they have overcome and even obstacles through which they are still working. Every nurse has thousands of stories and I want to hear these stories! Please email me with any suggestions, comments, stories, or ideas for topics. My hope is that this platform will show nurses that they are not alone. We all contend with the complex nature of this chosen profession.
